SUMMARY:Bees & Blossoms Spring Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Living Wright Foundation invites you to join us for the Bees & Blossoms Spring Celebration. We are pleased to announce our first annual fundraiser honoring our commitment to combat food insecurity\, as well as honoring the arrival of our bee hives at The Community Farm at Senate's End. \n\nWe will gather in The Hall at 320 Senate Street\, Columbia\, South Carolina 29201 on Thursday\, May 11th\, at 6pm for live music\, a silent auction\, signature cocktails inspired by what's blooming in the garden\, and menu by Chef John Chiles. Additionally\, we are offering a farm tour at 5pm. \n\nAdvanced tickets are $50 through May 8th\, and $65 following and at the door. Tickets can be purchased HERE: https://tinyurl.com/4j4vuzuk. Or\, contact us at info@livingwrightfoundation.org. \n\nTable sponsorships are available through May 8th and include 8 tickets to the event\, premier seating\, and business logos included in our published materials: \n\n\n	Platinum Table $5\,000 \n	Gold Table $2\,500 \n	Silver Table $1\,500 \n	Bronze Table $1\,000\n\n\nLiving Wright's mission is to combat food insecurity in The Midlands by advocating for\, educating\, and providing fresh produce to our community through regenerative farming and gardening techniques. We envision a vibrantly diverse food ecosystem nestled in the Congaree River Basin where visitors can examine their relationship to the land and cultivate healthier food systems. Our dual approach of community engagement and educational resources will allow us to have a direct\, measurable impact on food insecure populations as well as expand our sustainable footprint through partnerships and public workshops. Urban agriculture allows for the development of a variety of environmental\, economic\, and social benefits to surrounding communities: reducing transportation costs\, curbing runoff associated with heavy rainfall\, attracting pollinators\, and improving air quality. \n\nThe Living Wright Foundation is a 501(c) 3 charitable organization founded by Dupre Percival and Robert Percival\, owners of Dupre Catering and Events. The foundation is named in honor of Robert's grandfather\, the late Reverend Dr. Robert Wright Spears.
