Fort Jackson Day at the South Carolina State Fair

The South Carolina State Fair will be honoring Fort Jackson’s Centennial Celebration on Thursday October 20^th. Fort Jackson Day will recognize the Fort’s 100 years of excellence and training America’s soldiers at Noon in the raising of the flag hosted by Fort Jackson’s Color Guard and Vocalist. The WLTX stage will host Fort Jackson musicians, the Saluda River Academy for the Arts, and patriotic performances by Lexington District 2. The WLTX tent will also feature Fort Jackson Historical Displays and heavy duty military vehicle display provided by the SC National Guard.

Military, active and retired, are admitted free of charge each day of the fair, October 12 – 23.

Families of upcoming graduates from Fort Jackson will receive free admission on October 20.
