"Education of a Teacher: Lessons in Leadership from the Classroom"
Speaker: Patrick Kelly
In this session, Mr. Kelly will share reflections on the keys to effective leadership based on a unique professional biography encompassing roles ranging from 15 years of classroom teaching experience to serving as a policy advisor to three different U.S. Secretaries of Education. Mr. Kelly will highlight five elements of leadership that have implications for the future of education in South Carolina and have application across all professions.
The LCAA Leadership Luncheon Series hosts a variety of community leaders throughout the year. This luncheon is an opportunity for graduates of the Leadership Columbia program, and guests, to network as well as hear from influential leaders on the local, state and national stages.
