SC Rivalry Run 5K

Join Coach Frye for what is known as one of the most spirited and fun 5k’s in the SC! The SC Rivalry Run is a great way to show your Team Spirit while also raising funds and awareness to prevent Diabetes. This 5k is a competition among rivals! Registration includes custom Team T-Shirts in Garnet or Orange!

After losing his father and brother at a young age to diabetes, Curtis Frye Jr., committed his life and his resources to help in fighting the terrible disease. Coach Frye is a decorated NCAA Track & Field Coach at The University of South Carolina. He was the first USC Coach to win a National Championship, and was recently inducted into the Track & Field Hall of Fame. While at USC, Frye has coached numerous USA World Champions and Olympic Champions. Above all Frye has been a friend, role model, and mentor to hundreds of students, families, and programs all around the world.

The Frye Foundation is focused on helping individuals and families struggling with Diabetes. The primary focus is to bring awareness and visibility to all aspects of this disease. Some of those key areas of focus are; living a healthy lifestyle, exercising regularly, caring for our elderly with this disease, and teaching our youth to start living healthy NOW.
