The Columbia Chamber's Military Affairs Group is hosting a welcome breakfast for Brigadier General John "Pete" Johnson, as he assumes command of Fort Jackson.
Brigadier General John “Pete” Johnson assumed command of Fort Jackson and the U.S. Army Training Center June 24, 2016 as the 49th Commanding General. Brig. Gen. John P. Johnson, was previously the director of training, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/5/7, U.S. Army, Washington, District of Columbia.
General Johnson and his wife Sheila have two sons, Justin (9), and Daniel (4) and one daughter, Sarah (7).
